SEMINARS, TRAINING & WORKSHOPS

There is nothing that can quite compete with seminars given by Edward de Bono. Unfortunately Edward de Bono cannot be everywhere that people require him to give seminars or presentations. With some trepidation Peter de Bono can accept to give seminars on his brother's work - of course these seminars contain no academic background but are based on experience, feedback from users and a sincere passion for his brother's work. Peter de Bono has considerable experience in training of many sorts - he has carried out training for most of his adult life.

Peter de Bono is an accredited trainer in all Edward de Bono's authorised training courses. He is able to tailor courses to meet the requirements of organisations. He is also flexible with regards location and timings for any required training as he realises that certain organisations cannot afford the time to put their people on training - a compromise can be reached.

There is no organisation that will not benefit from training in Edward de Bono's techniques and methodologies.

Special provision can be made for educational establishments in relation to Edward de Bono's programmes for schools.

Training can take place on a client's premises or in Oxford, where there is a small private seminar room. Training can be arranged to cover whole days, part days and even week-end training where this is required.

Courses can be tempered for people at different levels in an organisation. Apart from the creative mood that should arise from training the effect will be felt in both vertical and horizontal communication and co-operation in teams and between teams.

Peter de Bono believes that teaching is not enough and in his training sessions he will seek to include topical instances and above all have participants practice. It is this practice that is so important. Participants will be issued with manuals or notes (for schools programmes only) depending upon the type and circumstances of the required training. Follow up or revision days can also be provided - it is so often the case that participants will find that after a short while they may realise that they not have grasped an element of the training and need revision and more practice in order to consolidate. Not surprisingly Peter de Bono believes in the military axiom of 'advance and consolidate'.

Edward de Bono states that 'five hours of instruction in thinking can have more effect on most people's lives than ten years of traditional education'.

In his training Peter de Bono aims to interest participants in the 'hobby of thinking creatively' to positively enhance their lives at work, at play and at home.

The main training courses are:
Lateral Thinking
Six Thinking Hats
DATT (Direct Attention Thinking Tools)
Serious Creativity
