Technology and Value Concepts

In the next edition of my news letter ( written monthly with Bob Heller) I write about the relationship between tchnology and value concepts. It seems to me that while technology is moving ahead fast, value concepts are seriously lagging behind. This is because there is no formal focus on these nor mechanism for generating them. Technology moves forward because it is a linear system and because each step forward defines the problem to be soved to take the next step forward.

I may in the future set up a group specifically to work on such matters. The Creative Team would be a partner in such a project.

The Design Conference on Northern Ireland has now moved into the Inner Ring and is continuing to be active.

For those not interested in the Design Conference there is the Small Ideas task (and other tasks). Here the emphasis is on very, very simple ideas that anyone could do and that are highly effective.
