EDWARD DE BONO'S MESSAGES - 17th April 2000
More Kingships!
A photo story of my reign as king of Geralton was
published in the week-end Australian of April 8. The story was written by
Melissa McCord who also took the photographs. I think she made an excellent job
of it.
Dennis Horgan, when he was in London, came to ask
me if I would like to be king of Margaret river. Since Dennis makes some of the
best wine in Australia (Leeuwin Estate) and since this is a lovely part of the
world, I accepted. The date is yet to be fixed.
If other towns or regions would like a king for a
while they only have to invite me. There are no costs involved. What is invested
in theatre, pomp and fun is what you get back. I also give talks (no charge) to
children and other groups as needed - on creativity and constructive thinking.
Politics is too grey. Having a king is more fun.
