Codes

The "de Bono Code Book" is now published in the English speaking world, but not the USA - which is always a bit behind on innovations.

Every household should have a code book easily available in the house. This means that family members can use codes  (mood codes, youth codes, frantic codes etc.) and then the others can immediately look up the meaning.

Every business should use the code book and also ensure that its suppliers and partners, especially overseas, also use the code. This makes for faster communication which is also more precise. A licencing system is being put in place for businesses that want to extract and re-print specific codes for use within their organisation (see debonocode.com).

Something of the sort is inevitable if we are to move beyond the limits of language as regards perception.

There was once a man who had a stroke. The only thing that happened was that he was unable to think of the names of vegetables. Consider the significance of that.
