MESSAGE FOR WEEK BEGINNING 15th April 2002 Journey round the world I apologise for the lack of a message last week. It is not always easy while travelling to cope with all matters. I have just returned from a round the world trip: Los Angeles, New Zealand, Australia (including being King of Launceston in Tasmania), Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain. In Bahrain I met Jermain Jackson, the elder brother of Michael Jackson, who has recently converted to Islam. In May I may be taking part in a 'Dialogue of Civilisations' to be held in Bahrain. The Koran is a very practical book that lists do's and dont's. The Christian approach is: "be a good person and then you will know how to do the right things". The Islamic approach is: "do the right things and then you will be a good person".
