There are various new conference areas. The Book Forum has been a success, as well as the first 'Book of the Month' -conference on Sur/petition. The Trainer's Forum and the Corporate User's Conference for accredited trainers and their students continue to give guided practice.

The effective use of the Six Hats for hosting the various crime prevention conferences has lead to 'parallel conferencing'. The powerful simplicity of being able to focus the Team on the generation, design and development of new ideas is a unique experience.

What's fascinating about the skillful use of the system is how the postings by the members under specific topics and hats are 'hosted' into genuine parallel exploration - instead of arrogant argument that is the traditional trap.

That's why the conferencing here is more effective and interesting than the discussion forums and chat rooms in the internet. It's good to know that there is this well-organized place for creating new concepts in the cyberspace.

Let's give a big virtual hand for the administrators Peter de Bono and Martin Solloway who with Caspar de Bono have presented this wonderful system for the Team to enjoy.

The Design Conference Northern Ireland is partly based on this conferencing system. The selected participants from the first stage will join in the 'serious conferencing' of the next two levels, hosted by Edward de Bono. See the website for more information.
