DATT FOR TRAINERS

There is an increasing demand for Edward de Bono's materials and programmes with an ever expanding network of instructors.

You can apply to become accredited instructor. This will give you the knowledge and right to teach the programmes to others.

The accreditation programmes are designed for experienced instructors or trainers - ideally with a minimum or two years experience in a position of major training responsibilities. The emphasis of the accreditation programme is to teach the methods not to teach training techniques and skills. APTT, who are responsible for the overall conduct of these programmes and accreditation, will only entrust qualified instructors with intellectual properties of great value and requires them to represent the creator of these properties, Edward de Bono, in a way that will sustain the value of the material as well as his personal reputation and credibility. The selection process requires proof of professional accomplishment, personal integrity and firm commitment.

The programme for trainers in DATT is much the same as for the public seminars. Of course there is more emphasis on the background to DATT and the accumulated knowledge that has been gained by Master Trainers giving these training sessions - they have given both public seminars and these training programmes (to become a Master Trainer you will have to show that you have trained at least 500 candidates in public and in-house sessions).

You will recieve training materials and taught how to use them. You will also be given materials that you yourself will use when you become an accredited trainer - materials for your students. It cannot be emphasised enough that you will not be trained to give presentations - you must be confident in yourself. You will be given training and inspiration in something you can undoubtedly believe in.
