EDWARD DE BONO'S MESSAGE Again, this message comes to you via a Nokia 9000 Communicator from an island off the coast of Australia. A few days ago I ran a creative retreat for senior Nokia executives from the whole Asian region. Interesting that a Finnish company should be such a dominant player in this field. About ten years ago I spoke to the R&D department of Nokia in Finland. People spend hours of time and lots of attention to look good and to be fit. No matter how fit and good looking someone may be if their mind is boring they will be boring, boring, boring. My latest book "How to be more interesting" is just being published first in Australia and later elsewhere (Viking/Penguin). It is about perception and the mind as a playground for perception. That is the link with my basic work. If you want to get hold of the book the best way might be via the internet (www.amazon.com). I hope everyone is busy with the lightweight task set for this month. Bontos are always welcome (see below).
Katie got tired of men In September I shall be talking at the TED/NYC technotainment conference in New York (Richard Wurman, organiser)
