About Time Too!!

Earlier this week I gave a talk at the Chinese High School in Singapore. This school is often referred to as "the Eton of the East". The school is starting to use my thinking programmes. I also visited the Saturday School run by my certified trainers, Peter and Linda Low. This is a very impressive operation with as many as 350 children every Saturday - learning thinking. The children start from as young as five and a half years old.

The East is beginning to see the value of "the thinking game". As with previous games such as quality, they will play the game with single minded determination. Western Schools which are befuddled with very old fashioned ideas on thinking will be left behind. There is beginning the shift from "what is" (judgement, analysis etc) to "what can be" (design, construction, creativity). About time too!! Academics have so little idea of operacy. They think life is all about description.
