A "Game"!

This is a brief message as I am on my way from Kuala Lumpur to Kotakinabalu in Sabah.

Western creativity has relied on rebellious individuality. Eastern cultures prefer the systematic approach of a "game" which they can learn to play. They learn well and play well. In time, the conformists will become more creative than the rebels. Messing around and hoping for occasional inspiration is really a rather weak approach.

Sadly, I hear that the European Creativity Association has gone bankrupt. It seems that creative people do not like to be organised.

All the usual topics are still open on the site. When I return to London I shall be able to give them fuller attention.
