The recent events in Washington may well position Hilary Clinton as a possible Democrat candidate for President.
Last week my book 'SIMPLICITY' was officially published. There were numerous radio interviews and also some TV and press. Radio is by far my preferred medium. Peple listen to radio but never listen to what is said on TV. Radio presenters are far more professional than TV presenters. On radio it is your own voice, people listen and there is enough time to explain ideas. The press is the worst because you have to go through the personal agenda of the journalist and then the agenda of the sub-editor who is likely to leave out the important bits and put a silly heading. On the whole newspapers are very insulting to their more intelligent readers. They cannot leave the reader to make up his or her mind but have to tell the reader what to think. The absurd review of my book in the Sunday Telegraph was a classic example of that attitude.
Whether some people like it or not, simplicity is becoming a core value. There is no other way we can cope with the opportunities offered by technology.
If you cannot get the book in a bookstore try www.bookshop.co.uk (search on 'Bono'). The book will be available in Australia in late September but should now be available in Canada. U.S.A. publication is not yet arranged.
