In spite of the predicted outrage of the word merchants who think that langtuage is perfect and can do anything, there is a growing interest in the codes I put forward in my book "The de Bono Code".

People are beginning to use it and to see its value. I met a family in Australia who told me that they used the code. In particular the teenage daughter said she found it useful in communicating with her mother.

I would not expect people to use all the code at once. One or two of the codes would be chosen to suit a particular need. Other codes could be added later. Where there is a shortage of space or time (as with a mobile phone screen) the immediate value of the code is obvious
