The book: "WHY SO STUPID: How the human race has never really learnt to think" was launched in Dublin on March 4th. On March 10th there should be major notices in the times, Telegraph, Financial Times, Guardian, Irish Times and Herald Tribune. On March 11th there will be notices in the Australian. In April there will be a notice in the Wall Street Journal. The price of the book is high at US$250.00.
There are several reasons for the high price. The first is that it is a very fundamental book ands the price helps to signal this. The second reason is to provide funds for the World Centre for New Thinking since it is likely I shall need to fund this myself. The third reason is to cover the cost of notices in Newspapers (relying on reviewers is useless). I could also add that the book would do more for your thinking than a seminar or even a university course - both of which would cost far more!
I am aware that the high price causes difficulties for individuals who have collected several of my books over the years. I shall try to find a way of coping with this.
The publishers tell me that orders are coming in. One law firm said they were ordering books for all 54 partners.
