A beautiful girl walks towards you. Then she smiles. She has the most awful teeth. What a pity. Why not get those teeth fixed.
Brazil is a great country. The seminar I gave recently in Sao Paulo was extremely well organised - one of the best anywhere in the world.
But on arrival in Sao Paulo after an eleven hour flight from Los Angeles there was a seventy-five minute wait in a queue for passport clearance. This is far worse than Indonesia, India, China etc. etc. It is totally unacceptable.
If you were a tourist you would not advise anybody else to go there. If you were an investor planning to invest you would consider that a country that cannot organise its airport couldn't organise much else.
It always amazes me that countries do not recognise that the airport is the first experience of a country. Why make it such an appalling experience?
There can be excuses such as too many planes arriving together or the need to check health (SARS). These are useless excuses. So, Brazil, get your airport fixed!
