MESSAGE FOR WEEK BEGINNING 31st January 2005 What is the truth?
I may well have used the following analogy before. I do not keep a detailed record of what I have written and where. In any case, a second exposure to the same message may trigger new ideas in your mind.
What is the truth?
A group of people are travelling in a car. The car runs out of petrol. The people get out and dance around celebrating that they have reached their destination.
When we have run out of thinking and possibilities we celebrate that we have reached 'the truth'. This may be practical but it may also be limiting. A fresh supply of petrol could possibly be arranged.
