MESSAGE FOR WEEK BEGINNING 7th March 2005

..not good enough..

We have done virtually nothing about 'thinking' for twenty four centuries. We have been happy with the thinking software designed by the G3 (Greek Gang of 3). This is all about analysis and judgement and the search for the truth. There is nothing about constructive thinking, creative thinking or design thinking.

Because the Church ran schools and universities at the time of the Renaissance the emphasis was on the sort of thinking needed to prove heretics wrong.

This is excellent but not enough. Our language and culture does not allow us to say that something is excellent but not good enough; it must be good or bad.
