MESSAGE FOR WEEK BEGINNING 30th January 2006

'possibility thinking' and 'value thinking'

In a cafeteria you order a ham sandwich. You are served with a tuna sandwich. Truth matters here. But did 'truth' help you select the type of sandwich. What was the basis of your preference? What was your 'value' thinking?

The last link in a chain that is towing a car, is vital. If this link breaks the car comes to a stop. In the same way 'truth' is essential as part of thinking. But there are all the other links in the chain which are just as important.

With thinking these other links include 'possibility thinking' and 'value thinking'.
