MESSAGE FOR WEEK BEGINNING 11th September 2006 Council for New Thinking
Serbia has now set up a 'Council for New Thinking' because democracies are not designed to have or promote new ideas. We shall see how it progresses. The driving force has been Dragan Sakan who picked up on the idea when I mentioned it during a major lecture I gave in Belgrade. In time I believe other countries will follow because democracy as a system does need improving - and this is one direction for improvement. The 'Council' comes under the general activities of the World Centre for New Thinking which is based in Malta.
