MESSAGE FOR WEEK BEGINNING 27th November 2006 H+
I continue to receive messages from people who have read my most recent book. This has the title "H+". This stands for Happiness, Humour, Help and Human. It is a design for a 'positive' religion. Most religions are about things you should not do. "H+" is a framework for simple things that you should do. There are small things to give a 'sense of achievement'. Research in the U.S.A. showed that ninety-four percent of youngsters regarded achievement as the most important thing in their lives. There are major achievements like learning to play tennis so that one day you might become a Wimbledon champion or entering politics so that you eventually get elected. But there is a lack of small, day to day achievements which are the ones that really matter. That is what the book is about. Humour is also very important and not much attended to in most religions.
