EDWARD DE BONO - TOPP Contributions - Volume 1 Contributions - Volume 2 Input Form |

Dear Mr. de Bono,
in "positive revolution" you suggest, that E-Clubs should never go into
politics. I hope the TOPP project is truely designed to go on-line in a sense, where it
becomes real through a true chance for translation of the accumulated mental potential
into action. And this within the world of hopes and needs, earth, even crossing the
borders of the net, where reception is physical.
After the identification of the political supporters of the idea in principle, the project
should go off-line to support the on-line success.
Get in contact with ad-agencies and set up a competition for compaigning better politics.
The heart of the concept on the web site, will always be easily accessible to the
followers over the net, from internet cafes, but it's the heart of the peoples, that needs
to be contacted over the traditional advertising links. If desired, I can come up with
target identification and promotion of the idea in German advertising.
People won't work for anything, where their contribution is not really wanted. If you
truely call for support, as usual, then millions of brains around the world will vote for
this virtual hope-site to go operational in the real world.

Some questions who's answers affect making TOPP a reality...
Where is an 'international political party's' home base ? Is there one ? The Internet ?
Within which framework(s) can TOPP have an effect - the UN ? NATO ?
How does policy get developed and endorsed ?
If fragmented in terms of geography, then perhaps a coordinated 'greenpeace' style lobby
group is an appropriate function for TOPP ?

A first step might be to compile a list of people, who in principle, support the idea.
Perhaps they could include how much support they are willing to provide:
- A vote at election time.
- Annual subscription of $X per year.
- Pamphlet distribution, etc.

Democracy: inherited or designed?
- Summarize all "What's wrong with democracy?" items in
maybe 8-15 essential statements.
- Run a Creative Team conference to link each statement
to just one other, as described in WaterLogic. Put this
group perception on the Web for all to see, challenge and
improve.
- Run the conference further to make creative, practical
proposals (acceptable to politicians and to the public),
regarding each important perceptual loop or item. Publicize
on the Web and by sending copies of the Report to 5
parties, 2 syndicates, 3 mass medias and 2 sociological
studies agencies of 10-20 selected countries (representa-
tive or just important).
- Each practical proposal should be designed, implemen-
ted and followed by the Creative Team, maybe with sub-
teams or long-term topics within a FollowUp conference.
- Call the conferencees "thinkivists" or "acthinkers".
